Lust for Rain

desert clouds of red and grey
speak of a day
that has no end - mocking the notion
swirling in the wind
amongst dreams and dust
time begins to bend

crows and jasmine sing of melancholy pain
as earthly spirits lust for rain...
desert clouds dance and tease
painting a picture of pure release

the seasons turn threefold
before the sky shares his drops of gold
crows and jasmine sing of melancholy pain
as earthly spirits lust for rain...
in vain.
